It’s no secret: I love Phantogram.

I’d also say “Black Out Days” is my favorite track from this years full-length Voices, which is a strong contender for my top-10 albums of 2014.

This rendition feels lighter, not as passionate as the original. The tempo dropped, verbed out square waves became more prominent, but the track is still decidedly driven by Sarah Barthel’s vocals. That’s enough for me.
