It’s no secret: I love Phantogram.

I’d also say “Black Out Days” is my favorite track from this years full-length Voices, which is a strong contender for my top-10 albums of 2014.

This rendition feels lighter, not as passionate as the original. The tempo dropped, verbed out square waves became more prominent, but the track is still decidedly driven by Sarah Barthel’s vocals. That’s enough for me.

Maybe it’s just the bro in me, but I kind of like Diplo. It’s not that I listen to his stuff everyday, but I have had a lot of fun at Diplo shows over the years.

Today, he released the “Andre Agassi Remix” of Lorde’s “Tennis Courts,” and it’s a bass heavy groove laden mid-set kind of jam.

This isn’t going to be the highlight of the set, but it’ll be on a lot of your friends’ late-summer mix-tapes.

Golden boys Disclosure have returned with a new rework of a classic from the masters, Pharrell Williams and Jay Z. Since Pharrell is King of the Cameo, I hope we see him on a stage with the boys from Reigate in the near future.
