Morrissey and PETA team up to make the most annoying video ever

Two of the world’s most annoying entities have joined forces to make what might be called the most pointless video of all time.

Billboard is reporting that former Smith’s front man and full-time blowhard Morrissey has collaborated with what might be the world’s most hypocritical animal right’s group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals to create a cartoon that “will be presented on his tour in support of his upcoming album,” obnoxiously entitled World Peace is None of Your Business.

Let me remind everyone about how annoying Morrissey is: While playing the main stage at Coachella a few years ago he said, “I can smell burning flesh and I hope to god it’s human,” before leaving the stage. I actual didn’t hear him say it because I was busy enjoying my cheeseburger and not giving a fuck about his political beliefs.

Now, in this artistic masterpiece — sure to rid the world of the scourge of steak dinners — we follow the heart wrenching story of Nugget, a chick born on a factory farm, as he tries to get back to his mother.

Let me be clear: I’m not endorsing factory farming. I know it’s terrible. But these are literally animals that can live for two years without a head. Let’s not go ascribing hyperbolic anthropomorphic story lines to something that ranks just above a light bulb on a scale of intelligent life.

Oh and it’s his 55th birthday. Great.
